Gundaroo is ten minutes off the Federal Highway from Sydney and 25 minutes from Canberra. The historic village lies near the Yass River and is typical of a 19th century village. If freshly made gourmet pizzas tickle your tastebuds or lovely homemade cakes and biscuits (including a gluten free selection) are your thing, then visit Cork Street Café; situated in the historic police stables of Gundaroo.
The Café is placed inside the old police stables, with polished floorboards and an open kitchen where your children can enjoy watching the chefs at work or can even make a dough sculpture of their own for the pizza oven. Cork Street has an unequivocal philosophy of fresh food and local produce, cut and made on the premises wherever possible.
